No, they are not. They are only the "Mauritius Islands".

Mauritius is amazingly a protracted way from land. Africa is the closest continental land mass, as others have mentioned, yet many reference books and components do no longer classify distant oceanic islands as being in any given continent in any respect. Mauritius is close to sufficient to Africa to be probable appropriate seen as area of Africa, yet incredibly there is not any definitive answer.
