From what I have heard there are some out there. Being illegal means you are not going to even get some advertising or open talk about it. 5 star hotels will not do the "more" part. But when you come here, ask some taxi guys or locals. I guess they will be the best people with that kind of knowledge. Best areas will be the busier spots like Grand Bay or Flic En Flac. I have seen some girls on the streets, and by the way they were dressed and the time of night they were there, it would be easy to presume they were prostitutes. But I can only speculate on this matter. I have not heard or seen any escorts, but I am sure, like any other country, they probably exists. Its a question of finding it. Hope you enjoy Mauritius with or without the "more" :).
